How to use these DTF transfers

Applying these ready-to-press transfers to your blanks is a straightforward process when you use a commercial heat press. Follow these steps for professional results:

1. Prep your heat press: Pre-heat your commercial press (flat plate) to 310°F to 320°F (155°C – 160°C). Medium to high pressure is required.
2. Pre-press the garment: Place your garment (cotton, polyester, poly-blend, canvas, or denim) on the press and press for 3 to 5 seconds to remove all moisture and wrinkles.
3. Position the transfer: Place the DTF transfer film sheet onto the garment, design side down (ink facing the fabric).
4. Press: Lower the heat press and apply heat for 12 to 15 seconds.
5. Peel: Allow the transfer to cool completely (cold peel) or wait until it is warm to the touch (warm peel, depending on specific film specifications) before slowly lifting the carrier film.
6. Post-press: Place a piece of parchment paper or a Teflon sheet over the design and press for an additional 5 seconds to seal the edges and maximize wash durability.
