Ready to Press DTF Transfers

Our ready to press DTF transfers are printed, cured and shipped press-ready, so you can go straight from box to heat press. Every direct-to-film transfer is printed with vivid pigment inks and a full white underbase, which means the same design pops on white, heather grey, navy and black garments without any weeding, cutting or screen setup.

Why printers and small brands choose our DTF transfers

  • No minimums. Order a single ready to press transfer or thousands - the price per print drops as you scale.
  • Works on almost any fabric. Cotton, 50/50 blends, polyester, tri-blends, canvas tote bags, fleece and performance wear.
  • Cold peel, high stretch. The film releases clean after cooling and the print flexes with the garment instead of cracking.
  • Wash durable. Properly pressed transfers survive 50+ home wash cycles with no meaningful fading.
  • Fast US turnaround. Transfers are produced and shipped from the United States, usually within 1-3 business days.

How to press a DTF transfer

  1. Pre-press the blank garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Position the transfer print-side down on the garment.
  3. Press at 310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds with medium to firm pressure.
  4. Let the film cool completely, then peel the carrier sheet away in one smooth motion (cold peel).
  5. Finish with a 5 second second-press using a cover sheet or parchment paper to lock in the print and soften the hand feel.

Heat presses vary, so run one test press on a scrap garment before a production run. Lower-temperature fabrics such as 100% polyester or nylon usually press well at 285°F for 12-15 seconds.

Ready to press vs. custom DTF gang sheets

Ready to press transfers are finished designs you buy individually and apply on demand - perfect for craft fairs, print-on-demand shops, boutiques and school or team orders where you need variety without inventory risk. If you have your own artwork, our custom DTF gang sheets let you tile multiple designs onto one film to bring the cost per print down even further.

Frequently asked questions

What is a ready to press DTF transfer?

It is a direct-to-film print that has already been printed, powdered and cured onto a carrier film. Nothing else is required: you simply heat press it onto your garment.

What temperature and time do DTF transfers need?

310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds with medium-firm pressure, followed by a cold peel and a short second press.

Are your DTF transfers hot peel or cold peel?

Cold peel. Let the film cool to room temperature before peeling for the cleanest release.

Can DTF transfers be used on dark shirts?

Yes. Every transfer is printed with a white underbase, so colors stay bright on black and other dark garments.

How long do DTF transfers last?

Unapplied transfers stay press-ready for about a year when stored flat, cool and out of direct sunlight. Applied prints hold up through 50+ washes.

Do you offer wholesale pricing on ready to press transfers?

Yes. Bulk tiers apply automatically as your order size grows, and gang sheets are available for high-volume production.
